The new challenge topic: Close-up Photography
Webster puts it simply:
1. A photograph taken at close range.
2. A photograph shot in which the subject is tightly framed and shown at a relatively large scale.
3. An intimate view of anything.
It can but does not have to be shot in macro.
It could be a “close-up” of an elephant or a piece of furniture. (poor examples)
Insects are welcome.
This is an area of photography where I have a lot to learn and this looks like a good place to start. Rich
