Challenge 166 – Shadow


From Wikipedia: ”A shadow is an area where direct light from a light source cannot reach due to obstruction by an object.”

We all know what a shadow is, so for this challenge, make sure the shadow is an important part of the photo. It doesn’t have to be the main subject, though it’s nice if it is. And it shouldn’t be accidental either, such as “Look, there is a shadow somewhere there”. That won’t work. The viewer has to know that the shadow was there on purpose. And serves a purpose.

More details:
- More than one shadow is acceptable


- It doesn’t have to be from the sun. A candle, a torch, or your father’s old cigarette lighter will be acceptable, too

- No B&W / monochrome/ monotone please. All color. The more the merrier :)
