Typography We see words and letters everywhere around us and sometimes they even appear in our photographs.
For this challenge letís put words and letters into our images on purpose. They donít have to be the subject of the photo but
they should look like you meant them to be there and ideally they should add something to the image, some meaning or context, maybe even change the meaning of the image by their presence.
The use of words and/or letters in a photograph can serve two functions.
~ One, as a design element through the use of shape, line and/or texture.
~ Two, as communication, to say something through written words about the image they are a part of.
Words and letters can be beautiful in their own right, in the past typefaces were designed by highly talented artists and
the classic faces have a grace all their own. Now is the time to use those beautiful shapes in your photographs.
I look forward to seeing what creative solutions you can come up with for this challenge! ~Sharon
