My interest in photography began in 1985 with a 35mm SLR camera. My interest waviered a bit a few years later because of work and family obligations. In 2005 I decided I needed a hobby to give me things to do since my children were older so I bought me a Nikon D50 digital SLR.
Since that time my interest in photography has become nearly an obession. I now use a Nikon D300s and a Nikon D80. My lens include a Nikon 70-300 f/4-5.6, a Tamron 11-18, a Sigma 24-70 f/2.8, a Tamron 70-200 f/2.8, a Tokina 100mm f/2.8 Macro, a Nikon 50mm f/1.8. I have acquired more cameras, lens, and other equipment. I am a huge fan of post processing and love to push the pixels.
My photographic interests have changed over time. I am currently interested in macros, fine art, and landscape (both urban and rural). I also believe reality photographs are very subjective. The mere fact that we took a photograph with a mechanical device which has intrinsic limitations means we have altered reality. The selection of film speed, aperture, lens, focal length, etc. has altered reality.
