Gahan Wilson

Feb. 18, 1930 -

How perfectly fitting: Wilson was declared stillborn. Another doctor who happened to be passing by took the newborn and plunged him into ice water. Thus was born Gahan (pronounced GAY-in) Wilson. He claims P.T. Barnum and William Jennings Bryan as great uncles.

Wilson got his start with Playboy accidentally: he was looking for Harvey Kurtzman's office, took a wrong turn, and found himself in Hugh Heffner's office by mistake.
