Our first full day in Varanasi. We got up early and Rahil gobbled his kangaroo (fried egg) and crocodile skin (dosa) in the hotel restaurant. Then we hopped into the car and navigated the incredibly chaotic streets of Varanasi, going first to the Mother India mandir (temple), which, rather than having images of gods, has a huge 3-D map of India. Later, we made our way on foot through narrow lanes to the ghats.
