Simla -- Friday, June 6th, 2008

Our late-morning flight from Delhi to Simla was delayed, so we kicked around the airport for a while. Once we finally took off, the flight was an hour and twenty minutes. The drive from the airport to the Mashobra guest house took about two hours, counting a stop for groceries.

There was still plenty of time, so we drove back to Simla for an evening visit. Visitors to Simla's mall take two elevators (cost: Rs. 7 per ticket) to get to the top. Once there, we were besieged by enterprising baby-stroller renters. All of the stollers had musical keyboards (in various states of (dis)repair). We returned home by nine p.m., had dinner, and hit the sack.
