Jean-Jacques Sempe

Sempe's a personal favorite, both for his relatively simple, clean drawing styles and also for his penchant for depicting children and their foibles. Wish I could read French!

Thanks to Jesús Sánchez for the contributions and particularly for one of the best gifts I've received in recent memory: the original drawing of a man tipping his hat. Hats off to you, Jesús!
