Rahil in Uttarakhand

In early April Rahil and his Mom, Dad, and Grandfather drove from Delhi first to Corbett National Park and then to Pangot, a tiny hamlet in the Himalayan foothills known chiefly for its remarkable bird diversity (example: seven species of woodpeckers). Although no tiger was spotted, Rahil had a close encounter with a family of wild elephants, chased fireflies, tracked leopards, saw a tree filled with nearly a hundred active beehives, and had lots of other fun adventures. Photos are below.
