Rahil accompanied his parents to Mussorie, a hill station about 250 kms north of Delhi, on July 3rd. He spent two nights there and shifted to a place near Chamba, about 50 kms closer to the mountains, for the third night, returning on the evening of the 5th.
Highlights included a walking tour of the Mussorie pedestrian mall, swinging, watching for monkeys, eating cotton candy, using tears to extort a set of toy binoculars, trying to catch a cloud, going horseback riding, watching the sun set on snow-capped ranges, visiting an apple orchard, playing air hockey for the first time, and making ceaseless demands to hear stories to wile away the long hours in the car. (The ride there took seven hours and the ride back to nine.)
After a two-month break, school resumed on Tuesday the 6th. Only one month remains at The Learning Tree School, after which it's off to a new one in early August.
