In March of 2008, when Rahil was 22 months old, I snapped a photo of him making a face after he had just finished his milk. I printed that photo and gave it to him, and then took a picture of him holding it. I printed that photo and gave it to him, and asked him to recreate the face he made in the original photograph while holding the second photo. He did, and I took another photo, printed it, and asked him to hold the third photo and make another face. And the process continues . . . .
