Ongoing photographic projects, mostly taken up with ardor, forgotten, revived, forgotten, and once again revived, in a seemingly endless cycle of passion and indifference.

"The Nth Generation Apple Project (N = 60)," begun c. 1986 and now more than twenty-five years in, is a collection of photos of photos of photos of photos of photos, etc. You'll see what I mean if you take a look.

"Stuff I've Held" is self-explanatory. I've been taking pictures of myself holding things for a number of years. Some of the photos are collected here.

"Panoramas" is a collection of 35 mm prints taped together with scotch tape to make a landscape. I did the first of them in 1985 when I was 23 and have been adding steadily; there are probably 400 or so of 'em lying around the house. I scanned some of (what I think are) the better ones and put them on display. They're categorized by geography and cover five continents.

Once I started to travel abroad regularly in the 1990s, I hit upon the idea of taking pictures of my shoes (invariably Rockports) in various locales. "Shoes Views" collects these pictures. The photos span a dozen years and as many countries. I highly recommend Rockports -- I'm on my third pair after all this time.

"Before and After" consists of photos of the same object or objects taken over long periods of time.
