Eldon Dedini was on the staff of Esquire and did many full page color layouts. He also wrote many gags for other cartoonists that appeared in this very fine magazine. He did all his work from his Carmel California home. He was first published in Esquire while still in his young 20's. Dedini was working at the Walt Disney Studio when Esquire lured him away for more money. Of course Dedini later went on to Playboy after Esquire changed its format. Dedini was published in Playboy till the day he died in Jan.2006. Dedini work at the same drawing board surrounded by all kinds of reference material stacked to the ceiling, for more than 50 years.
