This gallery contains areas found in the Pagudpud area. I have to mention that we stayed at this beautiful place called SAUD BEACH RESORT ( http://www.saudbeachresort.com/index.html ) which has beautiful sunsets and sunrises, a marvelous beach area in front and a lake at the back of the resort with a wonderful variety of birds.

On Jan. 20, 2013, bird watchers from Manila saw 3 mallard (2male, 1female). On Jan. 31, 2013 I saw 350 Phil. duck, 4 northern shoveler, 2 tufted duck, 1 mallard (male), 2 gadwall (male, female) and a domestic hybrid duck.

the most cheapest place to spend vacation at pagudpud is the APLAYA ORTEGA located at Brgy Pasaleng.... love the place.... a haven of peace, relaxation and recreation...

Pagudpud beach is better than Boracay. I have been to this place 4 times now. This is my beach... my sunset, my sand and my tan... Praise God he created this paradise.

yeah! true that pagudpud is such a nice place with lots of nice scenes especially the blue lagoon and the newly built " ala san juanico bridge in the north" and my family and i had been there just this december....Super!

My cousins (Amy, Desmond and Daniel) came to Pagudpud to visit the place. It's a long trip from Australia but it's all worth it. My Auntie Amy (formerly Cada) kept telling us about the place. We thought that Pagudpud is a sort of jungle but came to our surprise it was a total haven. As an Australian, I would definitely recommend Saud Beach resort to visit. We loved it so much and can't wait to go back to Pagudpud again.

Amen for Pagudpud. I agree, it's a beautiful place for a holiday. Definitely its a total haven. I used to lived there on my teens but live now in Australia.for almost 30 yrs. It changed a lot since then, and I am proud to say that Pagudpud is a must to visit.

whitebeach in puerto galera is also gud! try nyo guys.. especially snorkling, u can see the beautiful creatures under the sea...

HI! its really nice to see some beautiful pics from pagudpod..ive been there a couple of years ago and its really nice to read some good feedback from u guys. Im planning to visit the place again with my friends this year, can you suggest a nice resort at a minimal rate per night, wen we got there before there are only few resorts that offers good accomodation. thanks..

The place is just beautiful. We were in Mairaira last November 2008. Fortunately, there has been an increase in the numbers of resorts/accomodations in the place of more choices. I predict that in the next 5 years, there will be more development and hopefully, some night life without the overcrowding and garbage/trash of the already over-exploited other places in the country (calling the LGU, please maintain the area and have long-term plans of it'sdevelopment before will become another Boracay , with all it's controversies etc.). Here, you can frolic, swim, have great family fun without the congestion in the beach. That's what you call paradise. Just one suggestion to the entrepreneurs out there: how about a cozy restaurant for dining for those who are staying overnight in the area's resorts. Something over-looking the South China sea. That will be awesome and romantic:)

me with my family, relatives and boyfriend been there last holy week...saud beach resort was full when we arrived there, so we need to look for another place then we found the beach which they called "blue lagoon"...its so relaxing there...pagudpud beaches are good place...next holy week we are planning to go to pagudpud again, this time it will be SAud Beach...-for real!!!Thanks for uploading great pictures!!!

wow, that place, pagudpud reminded me when i went on vacation back in 2000, we stayed in their cottage for one week and i love the place, the beaches are still untouched by a lot of tourist. when i woke up in the morning i walked on the beach and waited for the fisherman to arrive so i can buy their fresh catch and have our cook prapare it for a good breakfast and tanghalian. I want to go back . oh the hammock i remember i fell asleep on it. hehe

Hi, I'm from Ilocos, though i've been to other places there, i assure u guys there are rili a lot of nice places to view, like malacan~ang of the north, pangil beach, d' coral beach, paoay church, laoag city, etc. So this year i plan to go to pagudpod, i heard a lot of good feedbacks about it, and knowing it's a white sand and not corrupted unlike boracay w/c is truly commercialized. So see u there... rommsky

I've just been there with my batch '62 classmates this past weekend, .It's an awesome place to spend your R & R..This is not like the commercialized Boracay but a quiet paradise of white sands and beaches to explore and smell the blue sea water breeze..It's absolutely a paradise in the North..I can recommend it to those who enjoy the sights of nature...Awesome, Beautiful, Serene, just some of the adjectives to describe it..

great photos! but you've missed other areas in pagudpud. special to mention is the dos hermanos island near mairaira cove resort , beach front of new resort, kapuluan vista resort, located in malingay, balaoi, pagudpud. mairaira point is at the norhern tip part of luzon before you reach cagayan. it's a nice new place. i swear
