Thanks Bob for your constructive comment. I removed the frame and I see your point readily. Please do not hesitate to let me know what makes an image better - it is a relentless pursuit.
Nico, The capture was handheld. I think it is a little soft, but I am not dissatisfied with it. Thanks for your remark. Sam Attal

What an amazing place! I am impressed by the fact that you managed to capure this so well under such low-light conditions. Well done. Regards Nico

Beautiful image Sam.

Now I really am feeling obtuse.... for me this would better suit this theme without the frame? Why????.... it just seems to draw too much attention to itself?

I like to use this type of frame because it is not too imposing generally and serves to "present" the image to the observer. That, I like. Because this is a low-key theme and the dark background allows the colours , both warm and cool, to draw the observer in, the frame remains 'visible'

Feel free to whisper... 'silly old coot' and disregard my personal preference... cos this is a terrific composition Sam.

~ Regards Bob

Thanks Jim. I agree that the colors are very complimentary. It was not anything I did, the credit should go to the lighting engineer/artist :) Sam Attal

This is really beautiful. I love the colors with the coolness of the blues setting off the warmth of the woods and the red curtains. It sort of draws me in yet keeps my eyes moving around to take in the details around the sides too. Really neat! Jim H.

I keep seeing Frank Gehry architecture images in the challenges and they seem to fit no matter what the topic! Beautiful picture of the concert hall with great colors and lines! :-) CJ

Thanks again Ledia, I think that Frank Gehry was thinking abstract too when he designed this. Sam Attal

Fascinating, Sam! It's almost an abstract until one realizes what it is. Well done! ~Lydia
