I keep coming back to look at this image. Something magical about it is difficult to describe in words. Sam Attal

Thanks, Sam. Thanks, Lydia.

With a person of her calibre to work with, it is real easy to create nice images. One nearly feels as if one "does not deserve it" !

Thanks, everyone, for the kind and constructive comments. Always appreciated. I replaced this one (my fav) with a borderless version and removed the others. Thanks again. Regards Nico

Nico, all three are really spectacular portraits. You captured and enhanced her beautiful features with skill and with a great lighting setup. I love the catch-light in her eyes and the highlights which epitomise "low key' studies.

I have to say I think I prefer to not have the frame in these images because they do contrast sharply particularly with the dark background of this gallery.

No doubt, against a 'more normal' background... for example; 'hanging on a wall' (assuming that most walls are painted lighter colours) the frame would work perfectly well.

Of course, 'frames' are such a personal preference and frequently attract vigorous debate... so no doubt opinions may be divided here as well.

Terrific posts Nico ~ Regards Bob

I like this one a lot, too! I especially like the off-center composition and the muted tones. ~Sharon

This is my favorite of your three, Nico. She has such wonderful facial structure, which was partially hidden by her hair in the other two (altho they're also very nice). The lighting helps accent the planes of her face, giving more dimensionality to the image.
