Thanks, Bob - f22 is an extreme on most lenses. On this lens at the 70mm end of the zoom the lens will stop down to f36 so I'm not as near the 'diffraction softening' zone as you would think. Man, I love this lens!

Nice image Pops, I like the creamy texture and the lighting on the coin and the colour blend with the background provides a good balance to the image..

That lens works well especially given that f22 really enters the 'diffraction softening' zone, especially with the APS-C sensor.

Mikey - The lens is a Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4.5 DC Macro and this image is about 2/3 of the original. Focal distance is a bit over 10" - I love that lens.
