A wonderfully dynamic image and the backlight is exquisite. I'd be curious to know the lighting conditions when you shot this. With all due respect, I dissent on a closer crop as I think the ground texture and negative space add significantly to the image. -Michael

Wonderful image, indeed, Lydia: congratulations! (I do agree, though, with Jim: a tighter crop on the bottom and the right hand side might still improve it, IMO.) -- db.

I like the lighting and of course the subject. Maybe something to try would be a little tighter crop on the right and bottom if you have the quality. It would move the subject to the 1/3 points and the dust would provide a path to the subject from the lower left to the subject. I like it in any case. Jim
