There are some blue'ish horizontal gleams behind the trees, along the top of the picture. Can easily be interpreted as hints of a skyline. Adds to the impression of this not being rotated. In addition it isn't clear what are trunks and what are branches. In brief: I claim my right to live in an illusion!

LOL - If you look at the trees in the background you'll see that the giraffe wasn't horizontal at all. She was more of a normal diagonal. It just cropped better this way.
