Very nice. Gotta love the angles of the ears and the nice doggie stare through the grass. I want to pet her! Jim H.

Oh boy! Now it really pops with no distraction. Technically, it's a centered composition, which is generally undesireable, but the leading lines of the snout, through to the ear, and /or the the C curve of the snout to body, allow for the breaking of that rule. The crop also adds the strength of the body lying on the upper line of thirds, the grass on the left falling at the lower line of thirds, her right eye falling on the right line of thirds. along the edge of her ear above that eye... all in all totaling for a strong composition and that strong eye jumping right off the page at us! Excellent!!! It truly excited me to see this image really pop like it should now. Kudos! ~ Lonnit

Boy, you can really feel the intense animal look here. It's so base... so undeniably canine. She's really giving us that dawgie look. The blown highlights are a bit distracting, so I wouldn't mind them cropped out, but the essence in those eyes is so excellently captured that I can deal with the so-called "technical flaws". If you can fix with a crop, great... if you can't, I can deal. :) ~ Lonnit

What a cooperative model... our dogs would not allow this in a million years! Super title as well.
