Beautiful Lonnit. I wondered about that competition aspect. I think you are right in that most 'judge' an image on 'technical parameters' rather than artistic appeal and most of our posts would probably be rejected? Certainly if considering 'stock images'? The lensbaby opens other pathways upon which I have not as yet tread! Nice composition ~ Regards Melbob

Thank you, Lydia. I happen to love the image and would really like to enter it into my next competition, but I know it will be doomed - the judges will condemn it for having no point in focus. They can be so anal at times, forgetting about art, in favor of technicalities. ~ Lonnit

Ahh, now Ms Lonnit, every tool, including Lensbaby, has it's use. And I find it appropriate that in an OOF challenge that lensbaby would do well as that is a feature of the lens. Just as I can admit that Partial Desats can be good, just as I can admit that HDR does have a place in digital photography, I can admit that a lensbaby picture can be good. I still think lensbaby is a waste of money.
