Great job, Arra! I never have the luck of finding spiders on our patio or back yard but, this one is a fantatic shot! The web and bokeh in the foreground really makes this shot for me. It gives the viewer a great perspective and adds to the perceived danger of (for most people) a spider lurking nearby. Markjay

There's much to like about this photo, which a number of people have already commented on...even the spider itself seems to be cooperating, with that one leg poised to...attack?

Impressive spider arra and I love how the OOF web draws the eye right into the spider! CJ

It is a beautiful spider, but the foreground web is truly stunning. -Michael

Thanks everybody!
BTW. I've found this little guy first time in my garden and I'm impressed too ;)

Great shot arra! ... you really captured the spookiness of these creatures particularly with that foreground bokeh. ~ Regards Melbob

I grant everybody that this is a brilliant shot, kudos to arra, but, maybe because it is so good....it spooks the hell out of me, (and I'm usually good with spiders). Best Wishes, Traveller

What a brilliant shot Arra. The Depth of focus and absolute clarity right where it needs to be is astounding. Julie

Jim H. It is a female spider and reaches size of 1 inch.

Regards.

Yes, I love the angle of view here and the pattern and bokeh of the web is really nice. The angle of the lighting is great and the colors in the background compliment the spider's neat coloration too. This must be a huge spider! We don't have those around here. Jim H.

The foreground bokeh is really strong and add a whole lot of interest to the photograph, in my opinion. Compliments and regards jnconradie
