Hey, Trav! Nice detail and smooth low key background you've got going here. I don't mind that you bit into this and, have now left your saliva all over the fruit for us to delight in. LOL. Seriously, thanks for participating. Markjay

Trav, I'm going to have to take a bite into a nice juicy peach and look carefully at how the bright sunlight is reflected in the juices. I like everything about this shot except the middle section with the bright highlights. But that's just my personal preference...everyone else seems to love the reflections.

I like the blue background too Trav and the gradations of color even better! Very juicy looking - I can almost taste it! CJ

Oh, Traveller, the juice flowing from the peach really makes this...it's almost sensual that it is so sumptuous. Gorgeous background. -Michael

Thanks, Nico, I personally believe that this is an extraordinary rendition of what it is...it has texture, depth and even a certain feeling to it...equally important, or more so, this is what I saw in my mind's eye before I shoot the image...and all too seldom does what I get match what I want or expect.

This did, and so makes it special to me.

I am a little perplexed by Mary Anne's criticism that the high lights bothered her, (not that I mind the criticism, I get it all the time...no big to me and I appreciate someone speaking their mind), but with a hot setting sun streaming in through a side window, I'm not sure what I could have done about it...is not like this is a flash shot with too large a charge or setting, this is what was there, I think.

All of our images are like out children...we love 'em for whatever strange reason...lol...no matter how bad they are, (smile and grin), and half eaten food must be a special category in photography...lol (if not out the gate a little weirdly offensive for having been partially eaten already)

Best wishes, Traveller

Wow, that must be the juiciest fruit I have yet seen... I can just about taste and smell it. Excellent work! Regards jnconradie

Delicious Traveller! I like the 'blue' version because it gives a slightly better 'spacial' effect to the image and the subtle reflection is good but it has highlighted a few bits of dust n stuff which distract. ( ..easily cloned out.)

I like the juicy drop! ~ Regards Melbob

I like the blue version better. The complementary colors work well, making the peach seem more appealing.

I boosted contrast 10%, which I think highlighted this a little...though it doesn't bother me.

Does the black version, a different frame actually, work any better for you? But, as I think about it, it had 7% contrast too.

Best Wishes, Traveller

You've certainly captured the colors and juiciness of the peach, Trav. However, I'm a bit put off by the light reflections. Maybe if you had the light coming from a different angle? You wouldn't mind eating a few more peaches, would you?

It is juicy, I like the drip lower center. I will confess however that three peaches were harmed in the making of these images...in that they were consumed (grin) Thanks Again, Traveller
