Ann, this is hands down (sorry 'bout that) my favorite of the two. I like the sense of portrait here and the DOF is nicely used.
BTW, thanks for posting a link to the gallery of your paintings. Your extraordinary sense of composition is as evident in your painting as it is in your photography. I also enjoyed your bold style and color palette. -Michael
