I'm sorry for the confusion...K2 and Elena. Its not my painting..., Its from an Unkown artist (Don't remeber the name) I had taken the photo couple of years back, and with all ART discussions, we had I got motivated and I have enhanced it though to add the mood to it here.

K2, yes I use an AIPTEK 9"x12" tablet. I am not good at painting with the tablet yet, but its very useful for precision work. Also I don't have coral. I use PS. I hear Coral is better for this things. But since I don't do much digital painting that often, I did not go for Coral.

I bet you considered calling this "Waiting for Hornblower" lol.

Thanks for the feedback ya'll. I know this is not the best "furniture" shot but I had it on my HD so I posted it here.

Mr. T, this was taken at New Orleans, Pre-Kartina, in one of the Open Jazz music + cocktail bars and had all the subtlies that you would expect in a place like that, including dimly lit lounges. Michael, that's why the trumpet :) I have processed to make it apear like a old painting with subdued color and more Tungsten yellow/orange hue to the whole thing.

I know this shot is more about the bored model in sheer need of Jazzed up entertainment, than about the furniture, but I felt this shot would not work had it been some other furniture.

Elena, Yes, the stockings do standout of the general mood of the image. About the painting, its generally personal taste. I would agree with you matter-of-factly. In my experience Art, wine and religion are the most discussed and opinionated topics out there.

Could you discuss this a little cat...what is it? Where was it shot? Very emotive and full of feeling. Best wishes, T

Great image Cat with nice PP and if I tilt my laptop screen enough, I can even see the chaise! CJ

The chaise lounge is very subtle, but it certainly is the foundation of the subject and its long lines add significantly to the image. I have to say that the trumpet is fabulous! -Michael
