For Traveller: I was thinking about it myself before posting and decided to leave all as it is (send, specks,scratches...) That what Chuck Close was in his work after all . He would be true to photographic image and paint such things as camera distortion and "unwanted" (from aesthetic point) details. Best regards, Elena

Elena, I presume that you know that your work is wonderful...but I have a minor nit on this image...bottom, center of chin, there is just one tiny white speck that I feel should be coned out, or healing brushed to the matching flesh tone. This is just an idea, it is fully your work...but a gentle suggestion. Best Wishes, Traveller

Thank you for reminding me of Chuck Close. I saw his work at the Walker Art Center in Mpls, MN and this does remind me of his early photorealistic style. Lovely eyes - wonderful portrait! CJ

Love your portraits Elena, you capture 'the essence'! I noticed you used an 'FD mount' lens on your camera, obviously with an adaptor. You certainly know how to make it work for you. I enjoyed visiting your gallery, you have a collection of exceptional work. ~ Regards Melbob
