Thanks Sharon and Nico! Since I seem to have no actual "style", you never know what I'll come up with - one day a styrofoam tray masquerading as Modern Art and the next day a flower! CJ
The original image was a white styrofoam tray from the grocery store with side lighting to create shadows and what look like bumps are the indentations in the tray. Lots of PP though! The Artist
I also admit to being slightly "lost" when it comes to modern art. I like the colours, though. And I would be keen to know what the original object/subject was? Interesting work. Regards jnconradie
I have trouble with abstract modern art too, and that was one reason why I did this. It isn't much different than what one might find in a gallery but what does it mean? As the "Artist" I might say this is a study of form, color, repeating patterns and mirrored hues. It represents a rainbow and was intended to produce a positive emotional response in the viewer reminding them of the beauty of nature. (Smile!) The Artist
I understood the monochromaic version....I think (?) I like this better...but abstract modern art....somtimes I have troubles...lol. Maybe this should have been in the What is it Challenge...maybe knowing what it is would help me appreciate this better...giving it some depth of meaning. Best Wishes, Traveller
