Monet

Monet makes the world go around.

In my life, I've found that humor is very important. This photo is a tribute to the art of humor.

The ability to laugh and make someone else laugh sets us apart from the animal world. Laughter gives us strength and relieves tension. Laughter makes our time here much more pleasant. Mrs. Pops always said she married me because I made her laugh.

Hi Bob! This money was the "take" from a recent Atlanta Flickr workshop on macro photography. It bought lunch. The money was collected and put on the host's mantle and untouched when I took the picture. How much is there? I haven't a clue.

Trying to catch up with commenting... I smile each time I see this and try to guess how much is there... around $33 ??? So is guessers keepers Pops?

Having said that I do like the way you composed this... what could otherwise be quite boring is actually to me an interesting photograph.

Different notes have a high degree of similarity.. so much so that I found I had to very carefully check what note I was tendering when I visited the US.

Here we must be exceptionally stupid people because our notes almost scream at you with totally different colours in a very unsubtle way of saying.... "this is five dollars'.... stupid!... I suspect that in the near future they might embed sound chips that scream out.... "FIFTY DOLLARS" cos that will probably be the minimum tender soon?

SO Pops.... this image must be effective cos it made me 'rant and rave'? LOL ~ Regards Melbob ... and I like your sense of humour!

Many feel that the pun is the highest (lowest) form of humor. My brother always said, "Punsters should be drawn and quoted!"

Hee, Hee, hee, hee, hee....I love it....exactly what I had in mind...but why Monet? Because he's expensive now? This seems also to verge on the Pointilist perspective.

Still, I like it. Well conceived and seen.

Best Wishes,

Traveller
