I loved this movie, although most of the people in the Midwest didn't as they felt their accent was being made fun of. All you need is a "friend's" leg in a chipper! CJ
Thanks Fly and Photokhan for your comments. I, too, wish that there was more snow. I was driving to Detroit last Sunday when I spotted this scene. A bulb went in my head - FARGO! Indeed, there was a wood shipper nearby, but the open trunk, disabled truck and scattered logs arrangement was more powerful to my eyes. Greetings. Sam Attal
Nice take...I feel it should have more snow in, though, to truly emulate the inhospitable, cold-desert look. It is abundantly used in the film to duplicate/evoke the glorious human stupidity in its full disaster-inducing dimension, in a most apt way.
