Lonnit my title for the series was Mars via Dielette, it really does look like another planet.
Mary-Anne, I know what you mean and have tried many crops but I keep reverting back to this, as-shot, view. When cutting off the bottom to a square-ish crop I don't like the 1:1 ratio. I think if the rocks were closer to 45° triangles, square would work well. When I stick with 2:3 or 3:2 and crop for said unity I don't like the balance between rock and sand so end up reverting. I'll keep looking for it though! -Najinsky

A very striking image, Najinsky. I like the way the diagonal striations on the rocks give a sense of movement here. In fact, I'd consider cropping off the bottom of the photo just below where the water begins because I think there is a powerful unity that is lost in the bottom section of rocks.
