Sharon, this is such a beautiful series...Kudos. I too like the darkness here, the natural light from the door accentuates the warm woods and metal surfaces. -Michael
Thanks, Henry and Paul! The only rule that I noticed was no flash. That's kind of why this is so dark but then I liked it this way, with just the light from the door. I was hoping the low key quality of this might qualify it as "simplified." They are open 10-4 until the weekend after Thanksgiving but after that, for the winter, they will only have guided tours. Oh, the other rule that I just remembered is no photography for commercial purposes without permission. It is a beautiful place and well worth a visit! ~Sharon
Sharon: I like this one best, too. I've been wanting to get over to the village for a long time now but haven't been able. Do they have any rules about taking photographs?

My favorite of the three Sharon, maybe it's a guy thing. There is nice color in the well worn, wooden handles, and just enough light to have the metal tool, look like metal. Great composition too, not all neatly lined up and straight. The tools on the left look like they are leaning to get into the picture, great capture. Henry
