I really like this one Traveller. Colorful and surreal, and your personality shines through. --Melanie (mlynn)

I like this one, very creative. An overall surrealistic feel, and the sky-blue/pink scheme adds to that dreamy look. Just to be nitpicking: I'd have blended the top of the hair a little more seamless, and there are a couple of unexplainably dark "spots" along your elbows. As someone already commented.. you *do* resemble Robin Williams :) Nice to meet you!

I really like this Trav - for the same reasons you do. Oh, and I have to agree with Victor on the Robin Williams bit. My mental picture was not that far off... Anyway, it is nice to have a face to tie to your kind, humble and caring personality (which shines through in what you share with us).

Did you mean Snake + Charmer? It's good to see the face behind the ever charming words. I keep my wanderlust hidden safely in the closet, but enjoy hearing of your travels. Best Wishes - CameraShy09

Yes, motley:

1. exhibiting great diversity of elements; heterogeneous: a motley crowd.

I was referring to the fact that the flock contained more than one species. -- Victor

Motley?!? Victor, you're calling my Flocks, "Motley?" How dare you....lol. I kind of liked them flying in patterns...that was interesting to me.

Both shot regrettably with the 17~85 IS....I left the 70~200f4 in the car.

Please also not certain birds, not Pelligans, flying with the flock.

Best Wishes, Traveller

What a motley flock. Can you identify them all? By the way, this morning, the quakers, who have a colony across the street from where I work, were very upset. I watched for a while to see what they were upset about. There was a hawk (not sure what kind), and two birds that seemed to be peregrine falcons -- I've never seen them here before, as well as several vultures soaring overhead.

One of the birds that looked like a peregrine falcon to me, headed away from me very quickly, and darted sideways a couple feet to catch something in the air, before continuing. This was all done in one quick motion.

Not having seen peregrine falcons in person before, that I know of, I can't be certain that's what they were, but I also can't think what else they might have been.

By the way, you have a certain Robin Williams look to you. -- Victor

Alas, it is moi...but I do like very much the color contrasts in this image...and the picture kind of catches the spirit of my wayward existence. I think I'll re-work this into a printable version...a little clean up here and there.

As to the snake, an explanation is here:

Is that you Mr.T? No way! The image I've drawn of you is slightly different. But in any case, great to see you Mr.T [aam1234].

That's you?!!! How funny - I thought you were younger, long & lanky build, with long, dark hair! LOL! Cute shot. ~ Lonnit
