I had unfortunately converted the orginal to B&W already, but did have the raw.

Thanks Victor for very helpful comment, I had'nt even thaough of seperating out trying to seperate out the backgroud. I will post a link to full color photo later tonight.

I was hoping for a color original. I'd like to see more separation between the leaves and flower or leaves and background. Depending upon the colors, this could be done using channel mixer of a hue adjustment layer with blend mode color below whatever method you use to change to greyscale. -- Victor

thanks for your kind comment. I am experimenting to understand b&w and have updated the pic with a tighter histogram and sharper image. Every feed back is highly appricated.
