Thanks Jim. I am using Photoshop CS for Windows.
Dont know how that happened...unless I uploaded the wrong version of the picture.
Applied desaturate + channel mixer (with monochrome checked). Hope it passes the test this time around.

It's close :)

You're not going to believe it, but it's still got some color in it. Here is what I see when I check it:

I had the "eyedropper" at the front of the chair in the back, where there is a nice shadow of grey to work with. I'm not sure if this might not be a rounding problem in the program you're using or what but I only see this on one other photo, and it's in pending right now.

I feel bad about this because the photo doesn't look colorful. Have you tried changing the mode to "greyscale"? What program are you using? Sorry to be a total pest, I'd much rather just ignore this but.....

Thanks All.
Jim, truely apologize for not correcting the picture earlier. I have desaturated the image.

This photo will need to be converted to greyscale mode or totally desaturated to remove all traces of color. Not that I can see it, mind you, but to be fair to everyone, I can't single any photos out for special treatment. Sorry. Jim H.

Very unique and interesting photo! great use of snow!

I like the use of lots and lots of negative space to accentuate the abundance of snow. Well done, RK. ~jnconradie

Hi RK. This is one of those shots that would pass the human eye inspection with ease. Yet if I run the cursor over it in photoshop, or the "color picker" in PSP, it seems that many of the pixels in the grey areas are not showing equal values of R, G, and B. So that means that there is (even if I can't see it) some color there. What image processing program do you use? If it's got a "greyscale" function or a "desaturate" function, you can kill any remnants of color that way. I don't think I'll be able to see the difference, frankly, but I have to stick with this and be consistent, I think. Thanks for your patience with this! Jim H.

Very cool (although I'd prefer it not tilted). So simple yet it has an elegance. ~ Lonnit

Neat one RK! Cindy

Under the new Greyscale rules, this excellent photo will need to be reprocessed to remove all traces of color. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Jim H.
