Fading Beauty *

This jonquil was on the downhill slide by the time I got to it, but I found the juxtaposition of its center holding onto youth and vitality and it's dying petals to be interesting.

This is another that really works for me. In colour the fading petals would be distracting but the BW gives it an extra lease of life. I think there is more detail available with additional PP. - Najinsky

Under the new Greyscale rules, this excellent photo will need to be reprocessed to remove all traces of color. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Jim H.
