Thank you all! I guess Frans and I were working with the same lighting system! LOL! ;)

As for "loop lighting", I was not familiar with that. I googled it and came upon this excellent pagehttp://www.lightingmagic.com/lightqa.htm#Broad,%20short,%20loop%20and%20Rembrandt%20lighting which explains it, along with the clearest explaination of broad and short lighting. I now get it. Thanks for inspiring an educational moment! I printed out that section and am placing a copy in my camera bag. I am absolutely going to experiment with broad, short, loop, and Rembrandt lighting techniques, AND, most importantly, apply them to my portraiture with intent! Thanks again! (now I'm aching to go set up my lights and play, despite my complete exhaustion from a very long and grueling day - but I won't. I'll wait until tomorrow.) ~ Lonnit

Love the loop lighting on this one. Classic! Frans Hals would have painted you just the same!

Thanks guys. This was actually an experiment. After one of my favorite photogs at the club had given a presentation on window lighting, I decided to give it a whirl. :) ~ Lonnit
