Thanks for the comments. As you say the door frame comes out pretty bright but I quite liked the effect. However your comments suggest maybe its worth trying to tone the frame down a little so I'll give it a try.

I like it, Bob. The picture certainly tells a story - and you managed to capture a rather interesting and intense expression on his face. (The frame appears a bit too white for my personal tastes. but I can appreciate that it would have been tricky to manage the contrast between the scene inside and frame.) Well done! ~jnconradie
