Thanks, Aut. Yeah, she really just captures the spirit of it all. Wish I knew who they were so I could give them a thank-you print. ~ Lonnit

I really like this... makes me want to find a spot on the bench and enjoy the moment with them. The woman far right gives this such a relaxing mood. Great image.

They didn't seem like they'd be suddenly rushing out. LOL! As for the unity, I agree. Perhaps it comes from the fact that the women are beside eachother as well as the me, as opposed to them being coupled. It's one of the few of my older shots that I still really enjoy. I just really love the woman on the right and how she's just basking in the mood of the late afternoon. It was one of those glorious late Sunday afternoons, with that oh-so-relaxed feeling that I love so much. ~ Lonnit

Well seen, Lonnit, and perhaps even lucky that you had time to capture the scene. Along with the feeling of a late Sunday afternoon, it has a very strong feeling of family and unity. -Michael

Thanks, Daniel. It's one of my personal favorites. I just loved the way these people embodied the feelings of a late Sunday afternoon.

We were driving down the road and I looked over and saw this. I made hubby stop the car and I ran out. The bench is at the top of an incline, so I got this wonderful low point of view from down by the roadway. I've got the print hanging in my hallway. ~ Lonnit

This is a wonderful (and most «on-topic») image, Lonnit. I love it! — db.
