A really great macro. Great example of using negative space, with strong composition. The balance of in-focus and OOF is perfect for this image. I find the shadow in upper left a detraction. I'd be tempted to clone over it, leaving it dark, but maintaining the monochromatic tone. On my monitor it has a green cast and some posterization - redcrown
This is almost a "Beauty and the Beast" macro image for me. The petals are filled with soft luscious colour and create a somewhat abstract image, juxtaposed with the colourless highly detailed bee. Nice. -Michael
