Well, I wasn't distracted by the nipple when I was looking for focus on the face...I did read that you said "face", LOL. I do now understand your point but I'm just not seeing the focus on the face as significantly different from the rest of the image. I was actually drawn to the face right away due to the lovely lighting on chin, lips, nose, cheek, and eye, but focus did not catch my attention. Thanks for explaining, we'll just have to see this one a bit differently :-) -Michael

I don't know how to describe it other than to say that it looks like she moved her face slightly; the focus of the face is less than the rest of the image, particularly in the eye, which should actually be the most in-focus area. I think the problem is that you males are so distracted by the nipple that you can't even see the face. We women, well, the straight ones anyway, can see the lack of focus in they eye. ;) LOL! ~ Lonnit

Mikel, I too really like this. It's a creative idea, the lighting is lovely, the b&w conversion and post-processing superb.

Lonnit, I'm just not seeing the face as OOF. I'm wondering what you are seeing that I am not. Feel like describing it in more detail? -Michael

Mikel, I really like the image, but it does really bug me that the face is OOF. It looks like it's some motion blur - the rest of her, including the front arm, are all in a nice soft focus. That would have been fine on the face as well, but there's more blur to the face. Very creative shot though. ~ Lonnit
