Son of a gun. Thought it looked familiar, but it's been 20 years since I peered out that window. I feel like I should be trudging up to the second floor for my 9:30 Ethics lecture. --Mr. Biscuit

Ah, my dear Mr. Biscuit, how right you are. This is a window from the Wren Chapel... behind the organ. The window if very old and its panes of glass distort the view. I am trying to capture this window in four seasons to create a montage.
Of course it is not the original window of 1693 but old enough to have a unique charm. A piece of plexiglass covers the front of the glass causing the double reflection, but it also seals in moisture which is having an ill effect on the wood. I love the patterns and angles that the shadows make, but only during a brief time of the day, in the late afternoon. Good of you to spot this. Cheers, LC
