This is from my daughter's first ballet experience. This is actually her teacher playing the main role in the Firebird.



I underexposed a full stop in order to try to get my shutter speed reasonably fast. I also used a monopod.



Don't know what the low light "qualifying" calculator would say, but I can tell you it was dark, dark, DARK for this performance - especially during this scene. The only lights were red as this was the bat demon (or something like that) scene.
