The Boxer

Shot in May of 2004 during my PAD.
This was part of a week long series
devoted to the musical works of
Simon & Garfunkel.

My husband's old boxing gloves lit with one
90W halogen spot light from the side.

Thanks! The gloves are a tribute to one of my favorite S&G songs, The Boxer. Lyrics can be found here: http://www.lyricsfreak.com/s/simon-and-garfunkel/124664.html Specifically, look to the bottom of the page where it starts "In the clearing stands a boxer..." It's a wonderful song - gives me chills everytime I listen to it.

Excuse my musical ignorance, but what have boxing gloves to do with Simon and Garfunkle? It's a very nice, strong image, by the way. -- Victor
