Thanks for the comments. To answer Victor's questions, yes this is a footbridge as well. As to the star patterns I think this is the lens diaphragm and the distortion of the red lights is due to the lens. The only use of Photoshop was to clone out the trails of a couple of aircraft heading for Heathrow.

Does that serve as a bridge as well? I'm also curious about the starshaped patterns around the lights. They have an interesting asymmetry to them. Also, I'm curious about the reflection on the water of the rightmost red lights. I'd expect them to "point" to the light source, but they don't. They point slightly to the right. Can you explain why? -- Victor
