Thanks all! Tim, d'Angletaire is the the fanciest hotel in town (probably in all of Denmark), are you a rock-star? You are right, this is not far from d'Angleterre, it is the department store 'Magasin du Nord', which faces the same square as d'Angletaire. A lot has happened to the square in recent years. For example, now there is an underground Metro-station in front of Magasin, and both Magasin and d'Angleterre have been remodeled some.
I thought I recognised your famous shopping street. I used to hang out in the d'Angleterre. Love it there. And I also love shots like this that blend different colour temperatures. This is a vote-getter for me. (or you, as it happens...) Tim
This is wonderfully luminous, especially nice with the reflections off the wet paving stones, and emphasized by the very black background. And, of course, the perspective is classic! ~Sharon
Nice colours! As it happens I prefer the shot you linked to because of the colours on the wet pavement but of course it doesn't have the perspective effect required for this challenge.
