Golden Gate Bridge, SF

Some of you will remember I entered some similar shots -
taken at the same time in the "Between" Challenge:

http://www.pbase.com/cslr_challenge/cslr53_eligible

I should have looked through for some new ones for the
exhibition in weather . . . but I was too lazy. Now
when I saw "perspective" I thought about these shots
again. I didn't want to enter the same images previously
entered in the Between challenge, so I found some from
the same shoot.

The GG bridge is sort of made for persective shots :)

I originally s hot this upside down - from what it is
now . . . still not sure that isn't the better way . . .

Cindy, your Golden Gate shots are so gorgeous and so perfect for this challenge. Thanks for taking the time to process new shots for this one, it is wonderful to see yet more amazing images from that day. You have taught us all a lot about how to "see" with these photos. Thanks! ~Sharon

Surreal and amazing, and just so incredibly well-executed. Talk about perfect light...

Cindy - this inspires me, too. I assume you're using the EF-S 10-22 lens, which I seem to have on my 20D at least 50% of the time. These pics of yours tell me I'm on the right track and just need to learn to *see* what I'm looking at.

Yes, Virginia, there IS an infinity!

Wow Michael, that is one of the nicest compliments I've ever received for any of my work. To inspire somebody is the ultimate reward! I've always really liked these images too. I just lucked out the conditions were just right and I had a wide angle. Thanks again, Cindy

Cindy, I LOVE this series. Not only is the view fresh, but they are executed so elegantly.

I was at the bridge over the weekend (I'm only a half hour from it). I want to say "thank you". Your images inspired me to see the bridge in wholly new ways, with or without a camera. In many ways, I felt like I hadn't really looked and seen it before. -Michael

Great perspective. The cables seem to meet in infinity. I like the mystic mood caused by the fog.

WOW!

Took me a minute to figure out what this is. I've been there and stood in this spot. Wow. This is fantastic. Really. Just marvelous.
