Thanks Andy. I agree, I couldn't nail the composition on this one. I had intended it to look really stark, gritty, and ominous, but the background just makes it look so blah. I'm still working out the kinks in my newly discovered RAW workflow, so the details are a bit mangled too. Any good ways to blur backgrounds realistically in PP?

I think this is an interesting subject but you haven't done it justice. The background distracts and the subject itself feels incomplete. Please feel free to ignore this. Regards Andy
