A creative image and the only one in the gallery that fulfills the theme of "Dominant colour". I see many images with only one color. In order to convey a dominant color theme you should have another color or colors over which your dominant color dominates. That is why I say this image comes the closest to accomplishing the challenge. The only quibble I have here is that it is hard to tell which color, the red or the white, IS the more dominant color as both colors are strong and appear to have equal impact.

Very appetizing shot, Techo. The smoothness of the cream is a wonderful contrast to the texture of the strawberry.

Thanks everyone :)

This cream is super heavy. Comes from an organic farm upstate and milk from Jersey cows no less. Just a sip of this will satisfy you.

Nice. As someone else said, I think the diagonal adds considerable interest. I'm also struck by how opaque and seemingly thick the cream is. Almost like paint. Again, very nice, and no doubt about the dominant color [*sMiLe*]. --Mr. Biscuit

Fabulous. Love the reds and the composition. Cheers, Vikas

Oh yes, you did indeed have some additional ideas for those strawberries :-) I'm really struck by how you captured the thickness of the cream. -Michael

Thanks Tiffany! , and Lonnit :)

I too was thinking Red was the dominant color even with the white around. I was thinking of doing an image which had more colors than one and focus on one colore more than the other, so I'm glad Red was your first reaction Lonnit. Though if you think this is stretching the topic please let me know.

Thanks,

Techo :)

Lots of white but red was still my first reaction. Nice shot! ~ Lonnit
