Jason and Lee, Jason is on the right track here. That´s what I was going for. Jason, when i looked at this image on my laptop it was easy to see what I was going for. But after I posted it on the net at the local internet cafe it was hard to see because the monitor was low resolution and the image appeared very large. I think there is definitely merit to the argument that when viewed close up it is hard to visualize the photo correctly. thanks for the comments Jason and Lee. - andrew
In looking at the thumbnail, I got a feeling like the darker swirl in the right was a vortex, and the highlights on the left were swirling outwards from it. In that sense, I felt as if you were going for something like "falling into serenity" which I kind of like..
Something different happens when I look at the picture close-in, however. There's not enough visual cues for me to tie the elements together. I still like it, but it's a different photo to me when it's larger. Creamy and dreamy, maybe, but not a vortex anymore.
