It works because it's strong enough to be intentional. Again, when you break the rules, break them so it becomes obvious it was not an error. This is obviously intentional, and being so, works, and works well. :) ~ Lonnit

I don't know about others, but for me the big reflection on the right side of the glasses adds a lot to this wonderful photo. It's like it (the reflection) has a character of it's own --- aam1234

I was wondering if anyone was going to be distracted by the reflections. I shot this a coupla ways, and experimented during post-work, but whenever I notched the reflections back, the image lost something (from my POV). I wanted something bright, glamouresque, and mildly weird. After staring at it a while, I lost all objectivity and decided to leave as is. Anyhow, thanks, all, for generous comments. --Mr. Biscuit

Ahem aam ;) I already loved it! I just found the big flash reflection in the right part specs a bit distracting is all. Overall you did a great job Mr. Biscuit. I really like the whole getup and a great job by the very charming and classy young lady

Oh the last comment was from me. The lighting and color of this photo is just superb (when will I take such photos, sigh). I also convinced Techo how perfect this photo is :) aam1234

Clearly Ms. Coco is a crumb off the old biscuit. The idea, colors, costume, and subject are totally charming. If that's not enough fer ya, it's a rather damn fine execution as well. -Michael

Nice work Mr. Biscuit! Great composition, nice soft colors and definately domineering purple. Markjay

[INSERT COMMENT HERE] No blurring, though I did have to clone out silhouettes from me, camera, and flash unit from portions of both reflections. The light is coming from high off the wall behind me (flash head rotated 180 degrees, angled up), yielding a fairly diffuse light source. So, straight off the camera, the reflections had soft edges. --Mr. Biscuit

Did you blur the flash in the reflections in photoshop or did it really come out like that?

Wonderful. Great lighting, great shading of the background, and what a fantastic model. The purple shades are purphect!

As sweet as ever. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with kids cutting their own hair, mine all did it at least once. It simply means you can't take them out in public for a while ;-)

Phew, about the bangs. :) We're all eagerly awaiting the other outfits! ~ Lonnit

This is too cute! Just adorable. Those soft purples are lovely, but it's that smile that grabs me!

No, Lonnit, she didn't cut her own bangs. The hat swept her hair up a bit more on the left, making her bangs appear uneven. Also: She indicated this morning (over Rice Crispies) that she has 4 more outfits she'd like to model. Somehow, I don't think the Challenge Crowd has seen the last of Coco. --Mr. Biscuit

She's a natural in front of the camera. Interesting pose and composition.

LOL! Such an obvious Biscuit shot! Hmnmmm.... did she trim her own bangs? And yes, my first thought was color. :) ~ Lonnit
